That is a very huge decision to make and can be very overwhelming. Just thinking about what to do with all of your belongings can be too much to handle along. Clutter Cleaners can help you. We will help you sort, pack, unpack.
If you need to have a garage/estate sale we can help with that too. You can go to www.mytreasuretrail.com and talk to Dale and see how they can help you out. My Treasure Trail can do the entire sale or just a few pieces. We will help you decide what to donate and what to discard. They will help you price your items, set up, advertise, run your sale and arrange for any items left to be picked up by a charity of your choice. Clutter Cleaners will tailor the project to your needs.
Where do I donate?
I would try close to home first, your church, synagogue, homeless/youth shelter, drug/alcohol recovery home or hospice shelter and other types of shelters. Then try the assistance leagues, Goodwill, Salvation Army, children hospitals. Most of these places will pick up from your home/office.
For old prom, bridesmaid, wedding dresses you can donate to teens that can’t afford the prom www.glassslipperproject.org/yostate.htm to find a location near you. You can also send business clothes to Dress for Success (dressforsuccess.org) they outfit low-income women for job interviews, donate skirts, suits, blouses, and shoes.

In June of 2003 Federated Charities opened and have serviced over 900 different families. They are really in need of larger size clothes. Some of the people they help can’t afford to wash their clothes so they come in every week. They are non-profit and will send you a letter for taxes. You can also send business clothes to: Dress for Success (dressforsuccess.org) they outfit low-income women for job interviews, donate skirts, suits, blouses, and shoes.
Try clothing consignment stores for your high value items.
There’s also furniture consignment stores.
Used bookstores for books of all kinds. You can also donate nonfiction paperbacks mailed fourth class to: Books to Prisoners 92 Pike Street, Seattle, WA 98101.
How do I get rid of Hazardous Waste ?
Make sure that your hazardous waste is disposed the correct way. Leave in original containers, unless leaking. Do not mix. No more than 15 gallons or 125lbs at a time. Check your local phone book for locations.
Sometimes twice a year they have a community day where you can take it to one location.
What is hazardous waste and what can I get rid of?
Oil/latex paint and products
(dried out empty paint cans with lids removed may be thrown out with regular trash)

You can also take them to Kiwanis Clubs, or to your cell phone retail store.
Send old cell phones and your phones will be refurbished, programmed to dial 911 and/or a local women’s shelter, and distributed free of charge by police departments and shelters to victims of domestic violence.

1st try your own eye doctor and see if they will take your old items. I believe the Lyons Club and Rotary Club will also take donations. If not then try these:

Absolutely, we offer training on how to get organizing below is a list of the places and groups that have experienced learning about getting organized. We offer training from 20 minutes to 3 hours and tailor the training to your needs.
